Description: This old talipun mask features a lovely heart shape face with an encrusted surface. Look at its cubistic profile. Picasso would have found inspiration in this one. With its conical eye missing on the right side, it is transformed into a powerful contemporary modern art work. Its skewed facial features with one long eye and the other short, give it a quirky and whimsical countenance. Notice the carefully formed nose with negative space through the nasal septum. In good condition retaining about 60 percent of its original pigments.
